Well it was nice out today so i decided to spray the bumpers and the old wheels with some paint, take the super crappy euro tails out (actually they fell out, they fall out alot), and put on the new valence i got off fleabay for 30 bucks. Oh and i washed it along with my bigger bowtie.

Damn lol. I hate my rims. They are all beat to hell. but I used it as a daily driver for a while. Once I get my car on the road I'm taking the truck off to start work on it. I need to replace the entire exhaust system.

and it's nice having a family in the junkyard business lol. Although this is the only real time I've ever used the lift.

So I got the bed hole cut for the air ride, got it mounted on the truck, drove it around the block. Right before I was gonna turn back on my street, I get pulled over, for being a suspicious vehicle in the area. Luckily, I didnt get a ticket. The cop was being a dick.

I tried to replace my roll pan with a 98+ rear bumper, but ran into a problem, when I discovered the previous owner welded the trailer hitch in, so I'm gonna have to fab some brackets:rant:

I thought about that, but theres just too much cutting involved in that, he welded it all the way around, if I were to go that route it would be easier to cut the rear of the frame off.

The long and short of it boiled down to Nope.

Some Googling showed similar results experienced by other people, but, it took them at least a year to experience the failures that I experienced.

I contacted Trinity 1945 and rather than troubleshoot with me, they offered me a free gallon of clear or a refund. I took the refund and they had the money in my Pay Pal account within half an hour.

I've chalked the experience up to a crappy product that was bound to fail either way and was accelerated by my back yard chemistry. I learned a few lessons from the experience, albeit the hard way, and won't repeat the same mistakes the next time I go ahead and paint.

Found out a bolt fell out of the exhaust manifold. The last one on the manifold that holds the oil fill bracket. Installed the new one today. Sized up some new flexible steel lined oil lines for my remote oil filter. Worked on a home built Wafer Fuse holder for my Alternator wire. It will replace the fuseable link when done.

Replaced the loooong black 1 gage wire from engine to battery with a short 1 gage wire, (there was an open bolt hole on the block under the Alternater), to the frame 12" away. From frame to body near wafer fuse under battery, up to battery. My lights on my dash and headlights seem brighter.
