got in an accident last fall...
some lady pulled out in front of me in a roundabout and effed up my front end brush guard is junk, bumper is junk, hood is repairable but im getting a cowl for it instead, and the grille is effed
plans.
im rebuilding it. replacing all the rustyness
getting painted, bought a cowl hood, and im gona lift it.
Just curious. Would it not have been easier to simply find another carcass in decent shape and swap out your functioning motor? Seems more cost effective, and a whole lot less work and fewer headaches on your end. Why the attachment to this specific truck?
I'm not knocking you, and from the looks of it you know what you're doing, so why all the work for something that could be avoided?
I know this is going back a ways, but, I need to do the same fix to my daughters 1st gen. What kind of tool did you use to cut the metal and get such a nice smooth cut? I think I'll purchase one. Can never have to many usefull tools. Since I went back this far, think I'll just read the whole thing again. To cold to go outside today, (-16C), so I'll just read.
Ok sir i give u credit for not crashing that rusted out s10 into a tree i absolutely hate dealing with rust my first truck was rusted out and i hated that ****3r.
