I thought the drive by wire was going to be hard I'm so wrong that was the easiest part so far power ground and two serial data wires. I guess I'm teaching myself a lesson decided to make my own harness and so far it's not fun.

I would think on an 04 since your already wired for a P59 PCM (which is the same as an 0411 just a tad faster) that about all you'd need to do is rework your injector and coil wiring. All the other sensors are nearly the same. KS will need another wire. Just remove the old KS wiring. Might need to extend a few others. then have your PCM programmed for your engine. I had Brendan at lt1swap.com do mine. He was charging $75. He can add fans, and delete what you want.

I built my own for a 99. Those had the black box PCMs. It was a big project. I found I was referring to the 03-04 S10 wiring diagram a lot. If you use the LS harness to start with everything will be on the wrong side of the truck. I'm actually thinking of redoing mine by getting an 03-04 S10 harness to start with. To clean it up a bit.
I started out soldering all my splices, but about mid way I bought a pair of serious crimping pliers and crimped most of the rest of it. You need a pair of pliers where the crimp is done on the opposite side of the pivot as the handles. The old standby cutting, stripping crimping pliers don't get it. A bunch of good marine grade 3 to1 shrink wrap with the adhesive/sealant inside both weatherproofs the splice and strengthens it. About wore out my HF heat gun.

Yes I'm running the p59 PCM I'm using one out of a 05 Chevy avalanche (flex fuel) And I also using HP tuners. I am using a eBay swap harness as my base to start with since it's pretty much set up for passenger side installation. Only thing nice about it, It has most of the plugs I need but China really needs to pay those 8-year-old kids more to make them better more then half of the pins were wired wrong. Example the two front O2 sensors were wired to ignition power not to the PCM so the heaters would have been on all the time when the vehicle was running. Why it's such a pain for me on this is because I am tucking it along the firewall up by the original OEM harness give it a nice neat look instead of just stringing it behind the motor and adding all the sensors that are missing from that swap harness plus cleaning up the donor harness as I'm going along. I've been doing automotive wiring since 1988 in the car audio video security & GPS field. I guess I developed a little bit of OCD over the 30+ years making my wiring look OEM and blending to the vehicle like I was not even there.

Still working on wiring harness just added second speed sensor wiring to harness for the eventual changeover to a 4l80e down the road. So when I do put a 4l80e in wiring will be at the bottom of the worry list. Also just ordered the male side of the cruise control plug for my Blazer so I don't have to cut the plug to connect my cruise control to the Tac module. Trying to do all plug and Play.

You don't use your old cruise control. Your remove it. The 4 wires from the column plug into the TAC and the DBW does the job of the Cruise control. I put the TAC where the CC was on the firewall. I did add a Metri-Pack 4 pin connector into the 4 wires on the engine side of the firewall so I could remove the TAC w/o unpinning those wires from TAC. The ends on them would have just snapped into the TAC because the terminals used on the TAC and old CC are the same style.

I'm not using the old cruise control I'm just plugging into the wiring. I found the mail side plug for I don't have to cut that one off. The four wires I need are in that plug.

Just pick a set of Delphi 12613412 50lb @ 58psi injectors. I was going to run the 36lb flex fuel injectors that came with the p-59 But these Delphi 50lb injectors were too good of a deal to pass up. I picked up the whole intake with injectors and fuel rail at my local U pull it for just under a hundred bucks. It came from a 2020 Express 2500 the intake of the square port so I sell that on EBay and make some money back. Make it an even better deal for the injectors.

Update. 04/23/22
2004 Chevy Blazer Ls 2dr. I am putting a 5.3L (L59) from a 03 GMC Yukon drive by wire with 4L60E . So far have parts on order from current performance and Holly just waiting for them to come in so I can start fitting the 5.3 into the Blazer . With the summit racing Pistons Chevy performance head gaskets and 243 heads Mill down to 62 CC my compression will be 10.6.1 CR. Should work well with the 2004 LS6 Corvette camshaft I'm going to be using.

I said your 5 year old used truck is $7200 a year for 5 years plus insurance, tabs & etc. Mine is fully funded with a new motor, transmission, rear end, brakes, tires, wheels, suspension & fresh paint for 9K, insurance is $42 month.
He said not bad when you put it that way!! When do I get a ride?? I said as soon as your son gets the paint work done & I can put it together. How about you call him and stoke the fire!!!

Working with relatives can be such fun. Asked my son in law if he and his son could help me last weekend to get som heavy timbers across a creek for building an ATV bridge. He said sure. They showed up at 6 AM Sat already to deer hunt the entire weekend.
Actually did get it done. Both my son in law and my grandson are twice my size, so it didn't take long.
They didn't see any deer so Monday I emailed them a pic of the 10 point I've been watching. A big old mature buck. Might have to dust off my bow.

I'm not keeping track of how much I'm spending I know I said it somewhere in this thread it's better that way. Just looking forward to getting it done. But I'm glad I picked up these injectors because I'm going to be running e85. I know I won't run out of injectors on E85 and it will keep the injector duty cycle low.

I decided to go with the trailblazer SS intake because I'm running the LS6 Corvette Cam with the 243 heads with the higher compression pistons. I saw a video put out by SDPC where they did a test between the standard truck intake and the trailblazer SS. The trailblazer SS had a gain of 20+ horsepower on a stock with cam LM4 5.3L.

I used a Dayco 71994 upper hose for 2000 Neon. I opted to not add any additional low end torque or hp and just kept the OE 2004m TB intake. A 250-300HP improvement over the stock 110 4-banger will be plenty.

I decided to use the LS6 Corvette Cam because it has less torque but excellent top end. With my blazer being such a short wheelbase some loss of torque would not really matter. That's why I wanted the trailblazer SS intake to help with the top end. Hoping to get everything done and running by March or April next year because I really want to do Rocky mountain race week. Not trying to win anything, just going to have some fun but I don't want to be the turtle at the track either.

I decided to go with a LQ9 cam so I would not loose the bottom-end torque but gain some hp. My objective is more of a daily driver. I picked up this cam from a guy on market place.He had bought a new LQ9 and upgraded to an after market cam. So the cam was basically just a breakin hrs cam. It came with lifters seals all for $20 plus shipping.
