I got the slimey feel on the inside of the radiator. I really need to flush it bad.

I need to know the best product out there to actually flush it and get rid of that slime.

Also if someone out there has a good writeup on how to flush the 4.3 that would be great. Trying to refresh myself of what my dad and I did to my 4banger 8 years ago...

I remember the basics: remove tstat, follow directions on the radiator flush product which usually involves draining the old shit then refilling with water then runnign till its hot/bottle recomends.

I bought the gm coolant system flush from the dealer, I works if you follow the instructions.

ive used that Gunk (i think thats the name) brand radiator flush. seems to work good, BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE READ THE BOTTLE, IDK WHAT ORDER THE BOTTLE HAS INSTRUCTIONS LISTED. if you dont have an airlift or a flush machine, open the petcock on the bottom of the radiator, let it all flow out, put a garden hose into the top of the radiator, let it fill up, over flow even, then run the car, let it get to operating temp so that the t- stat opens, then drain it again, while running water through it, keep the garden hose going untill you get clean water coming out the bottom, then drain and filler up with coolant, not dexcool, use green shit
