Anyone have an opinion on these bags? I'm bagging the front.. Just wanting to know how much of the pocket I'll need to cut.. Also, do I need to cut space for the tie rods. I'm running 17" KMC V2's on 235/40/17 rubber. Also, should I get the 1/2 inch dual port or single ports bags? I'll be buying them through suicidedoors.com . Hopefully Jason can hook me up.. Thanks for the help.. and just let me know your opinions.. Feel free to talk shit about the bags.. no biggy. I'm here for advice though, so stat your opinion, whether it's good or bad.. Thx everybody.

Also, can I use AirRide tech control arms with these bags?

i got the 2b6 and there good..2b7s take a lot to cut out.....bigger then a 2600 i think....the rollplates are good too....they will work with the ART arms but you'll need Jason's adaptors..no biggie....single or dual is the same price so its up to you....dual ports dont bolt in the cups though...and if you use the ART lower arms theres no bottom cup

2b7s ARE bigger than 2600 bags.
They take a lot more space to mount and are a pain to install.
you have to cut a lot of the pocket to make them fit and the lip inside has to be flush with the frame or you will blow a bag. IMO, if you have the 4.3 or bigger motor go with the 2b7s but otherwise 2b6 or equivalent is more than enough.

offset the bag out towards the wheels by 3/8" by drilling new holes in the cups, trim a little bit more in the front of the spring pocket.... bam problem solved with the rubbing in the back of the pocket.

yes i would get these bags, you will love the ride. if it were me i would get the single port bags, that way you will still be able to bolt the upper cup in, you dont want a 2b7 floating around very much in there, since they are bigger they have a little higher chance of rubbing if you dont cut enough of the pocket out. no you should not have to clearense the frame to clear the tierods.

I have the 4.3. Anyone have any pictures of how much you cut to make the lip flush with the frame? Maybe without the bag in there? Also, would you guys recommend any other bag.. or should I just stick with the 2b7?

thx for the help.

98layinframe.. should I drill new holes in both cups? and should I drill the holes in the same spot on each cup? I don't want to blow a bag.. I just hope the install isn't complicated. I was just going to go with the FS 2600 bag.. But I don't know. I've heard such good things about the 2b7.. I dunno..

yes both cups, you want to bring the bag strait out, if you only drill the top or bottom, that will introduce a twist on the bag when it deflated in the spring pocket. One major hint to give ya, keep test fitting the bags in the opening as you go, you dont want to cut to much of the spring pocket out, but then again you also want to make sure that you can fit your hand around any side of the bag at any time during the travel of the suspenion. also when you inflat the bag it will swell a little so take that in to account also.

I did the offset drilled with a set of jasons cups in djdaudio's truck with his 2b7's. I believe he has some pics, and also a video of the bag in action. drop him a pm.

The 2b7's are a great bag. They are physically larger than a 2600 and you have to cut lots and lots of space on the front end. I have them for the rear and the 2b6's up front and they ride good. cant imagine what the 2b7's would ride like. Ide go with em if your willing to do some cutting.

I am in the process of installing some 2b7 extremes in my truck and it really isn't all that hard you just have to make sure that you have enough space all the way around the bag. There are a few pics in my thread (My Baggin Process) but I still need to cut some more still.
