Im Jeff. Im new here too. So what is the steep angle on the ball joints fix? Im fixing to buy a 2001 2wd v6 xcab s10 and thinking bout putting the Springtech 6 inch lift on mine. Mine will stay on pavement mostly unless im driving down the gravel road to deer camp. Also im thinking of running 18x10.5 wheels with 33s, what u think bout that? And will i need spacers in the front?

@ratrodguy after from what ive heard i wouldnt go any bigger than a 2inch lift spring. ride quality is gonna be better saves you money from replacing bj. you dont have to purchase LT kits which i havent found under 1,000 doll hairs. Since your truck is very siimilar to mine, and you wanna clear 33's. This is my plan. 3inch spindles, 2inch lift springs up front. 2in shackels and an ad a leaf for the rear. This should be close to 5 inches up front and 4 inches of lift the back depending on how the springs settle. this should get me clearing 31's. the next step is the bodylift and trimming could be a 7inch lift up front and 6 inch the back after all 3 steps. A few good threads on here like Muddin2wd's and there is this other 1999 s10 who got 35's on his alleged only spindles and bodylift. but either way you gotta cut the fenders or hammer them. Ill be posting my Build as soon as my parts arrive hoping the 14th. BUt id say that spring tech kit is just not worth the $$$$$ dollar for dollar. EBAY!!!! bodylifts 200 spindles 240 shackles 40 ad a leaf is 100 springs could be 60-100 then just need shocks. 680 dollars with shipping (most of its usually free) vs 800 dollars of kit thats gonna ride stiff as shit and give your bjs hell..

hey guys I have a 04 with 2 inch bl and 2 inch shackles in the rear I am looking to put 3 in shocks in the front and put it on 31 by 10.5 inch tires but I want to know if the tires will rub WITHOUT wheelspacers because I do not want to trim. And also if anyone know about the 2 in shocks as apposed to the 3 in shocks, pros and cons on them that would be helpful

Hi everyone,
Love this site! I'm in the process of lifting an 02 longbed s10 and its going great thanks to all the info and help i've gotten on here! So far i have lift shackles and an add a leaf in the back with 3" spindles up front and extended brake lines. Finally looks like a truck lol. I'm planning on adding some spacers in the rear and a 2" body lift next month and a set of at tires when it's all done. I found this pic on here. Mines the same thing but black. Pics of mine will be on when i'm all done with the lift. :D Also, I have an extra set of extended brake lines im selling on ebay if you're interested: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281466476363?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Lift spindles do not affect your shock length. You will be fine. You will need longer brake hoses though.

I'm looking to increase the height of my 99 s-10 2wd 2.2L to only 2 inches. I'm not planning to go off road but I would like the ride a little higher. After further research, I came across 2inch lift spindle and shackles along with numerous amounts of brands. I also learned that some folks would had issues with finding a way to extend the front brake line hoses. Is there any particular brand to stay away from? Any particular brand that makes the installation easier? Any installation pictures? Thanks!
