Wide door gap

2002 chevy blazer Xtreme. I've had this truck for 6 years and the door gap drives me crazy. Great truck in very nice shape drivers door has at least a 1/2 wide gap. The doors don't sag I have replaced bushings a few years ago. The gap is even 1/2" wide. The door looks to be original with stickers and the same with the jam. Door to fender is an even 1/4"

Is it possible that it came out of Chevy like this? Is there anything I can do to get the gap right?

Is the gap even relative to the opposite door? Could it be a tweaked hinge?

This is the drivers door the passager door is tighter but still a little wide.

There does not seem to be any signs of old damage. Is there anything I can do? these are welded hinges.

you can get an aftermarket door edge- they are a poly chrome- will fill in the gap a bit and provide some edge protection.
