How's that sound? Any other options I might want to look into? It is going into the blazer, will it release the hatch too?

I have a simmilar model with the 2 way transmitter... The two way transmitter is pretty neat at 1st, but I really suck up the Batteries... I have to change the batt about every 3 weeks and thats if I don't play with it a lot....

On mine, I have the hatch on the AUX channel, you hit the AUX button for like 10 secs and the hatch pops...

 

i have the 791XV and it's great. the range is fantastic and it's sensitive, but not too sensitive. and yeah, what ^ he said about the hatch. with the 791XV you can use just the aux button to pop it, but the remote also has another two channels so you could use aux+arm to do it, or aux+disarm to do it. makes it great if you shave your doors, which i'm going to do.

 

What is the homepage for the company that makes Viper Alarms? Googling it just has thousands of places to buy it. I am looking for an alarm for my Blazer.

this is my setup:

back up battery
2 piezo sierens (one in the left drivers vent, and one in the center vent) they are crazy loud
dome light supervision
right door pops with one channel
left door pops on another channel
rear hatch on the third channel
mercury switch on the reat hatch
i love it.
when im ever bagged, im going to install my door lock module and make it pulse for 3 seconds so it will air out when armed and fill when unarmed. i think ill get a window module too.

 

if thats all your doing, Id just do a few relays on the windows instead of that pricey window module

my fs setup is this:

5?? interior pain generator
6 different sirens
1 relay for the sirens
1 451M relay pair for the dome light and for the radio on/off
and 2 pairs of 451Ms for the windows up/down

my blazer

2 interior pains
1 interior black widow
1 mechanical air raid type siren (type used on firetrucks)
about 10 other sirens, lost count of them all
2 siren relays (fused)
2 Viper channel expanders
1 dome light relay
6 451Ms off the channel expanders for airbag control, radio, neon, strobes, hatch, etc
not one to mess with!
