depends on the state...pretty much any color is illegal cause the cop could get u fro distracting other drivers and what not

REgradless of the laws i wouldn't drive around with them on, in NY cops would cross medians to pull u over if they saw a underbody kit on. regradless of the color. For the most part a few of my friends jus leave them on when parked for a club meet.

You're best bet to find out the laws regarding your lighting is to simply call the local state police barracks and ask to talk with the traffic or inspection division. They can usually tell you the statute off the top of their head.

As a cop in Florida, the law states you cannot have lights that are the color or colors of any emergency vehicle. Basically red and blue are the ones that are picked on. these colors will NOT matter though if the vehicle is in a stationary non-moving position.

I believe here in Washington State any underglow lights are illegal while in motion. Now if your car is in parked in a parking lot then i believe its legal. I have mine turned on a few times while im in the parking lot and cops don't do anything.

the way i heard it for ct. which was a few years back. not sure if it changed now. all color neon is legal.neon is a gas not a light. and if you only see the glow of the tube and not the tube itself you are legal. dont quote me cause im not sure if the law has changes. like i said i heard this a few years back.
i dorve everywhere with my blue neons on. and i never got pulled over for it

same here...i drive with blue neons on my truck and according to TX DPS its legal if you cannot see the light itself, only the glow. Cops like to harrass, but i've never gotten a ticket yet. now if youre driving through a town that has a city ordinance against neons on cars, then thats another thing. you just have to ask around or risk getting caught.

oh florida cops.....im from florida and i have gotten pulled over 3 times in two months for red lights, so red and blue is illegal due to the fact it is emergancy vechicles, unless u r parked and they are on, then u can have red or blue, but while driving, no blue or red, but u can have white as long as they dont look blue. alos, u can have green and other colors but the red or blue ones.

i used to do state inspections in north carolina for a dealership, they told me.... red, amber , and blue are illegal.......emergency vehicle colors. but cops can be dicks when they want reguardless.

but what ever you do dont get one of those license plate lights and put it on youll get pulled over for sure. "the only light allowed to shine on your plates is a white light" ---stright from the cops mouth.
