Reason one why ive always hated shaved doors on my trucks and yes it has happened to me many of times. Goto autozone and get your self one of these. My last truck I had this hooked up from inside the truck and ran the line up into the cowl, all i had to do was pull up and door pops open but of course i had an alarm.
