ok I'm making this thread to help out people that want to actually put any kind of racing seat.. and not just sunfire and camaro
1. YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO WELD or have someone weld.
2. WORKS ONLY WITH 2WD
step 1. strip the carpet.
2. Cut out bumps, the floor pan is shaped like this because of the AWD tranny, so its uneeded.

3. Get 16 or 14 gauge sheet metal and weld it into the cut out parts so its flat.
(this pic is really dirty and I hadnt grinded it yet.)

4. Seal the surrounding seams with 3M 3500 adhesive

5. Clean

Now onto the seat brackets. This is actually the BIGGEST problem but here's a simple design that works great.
I went to my local metal shop and got a 1 1/4 by 1/4 rails and cut them into 17'' bars to fit on the sliders...
(THESE RAILS ARE THE RAILS IN THE NEXT COUPLE PICS, THEY WERE JUST BEING SPOT FIT ON THE BOTTOM)
after doing that I cut 2 1/2'' pieces that would be the risers and 1 1/2'' pieces for the "L" that would hold it to the ground.
then I welded them up to the rail (its crummy welding because I'm using a gas-less $120 welder. )
spot fit them.. .
Well there ya go, I hope it helps someone if they need help. It's a pain in the ass but definitely pays off in the end.
