Holley Water Pump

Has anyone run the Holley water pump? Good bad yes or no? I'm looking to move the top radiator hose to the drivers side. Will that cause any problems with the belts or stock brackets? I have a truck motor with all stock brackets and stuff. I looked at the AC Delco Camaro pump but not sure it works with truck motor. AC Delco pump almost cost as much as the Holley pump. Thanks

While it is just an LS2 waterpump, the fit and finish on Holley's products in my experience has been excellent. Normally I'd say ACD or nothin' especially compared to the ebay waterpump (don't do it they're a trap!). In this case if you can get the Holley for less than a genuine ACD, I wouldn't be afraid to buy it myself.

Did I do this wrong? I mounted the LS3 water pump, trimmed the triangular piece from the top of the truck alt/ps bracket, and <tried> to mount the bracket, but the p/s pump pulley runs smack into the steering box!
It looked good in the pictures, with the engine on a stand, but not in the truck...

Ideas?

What accessories/kit are you running @oldfogey47 ? Also what engine mounts?

There is a Ford E150 pulley that is smaller diameter that will swap onto the GM P/S pumps. I'll have to dig up the application/part number, but I used it on a friend's truck when we thought we had clearance issues to the steering box. Ended up we were wrong, but it's an option others have used before.

I have not pressed it on yet to verify but I have a 12569456 pulley I'm planning on using if I need to. Its all metal and has bolt access holes for the pump.

I came back to say I tried to press on the 12569456 pulley but the offset is too much. It will not work with the truck accessories. Hopefully that will save someone the trouble of buying one and trying it.

Harley...
I'm using Current Performance Wiring motor mounts. No "real" accessories, just P/S (no A/C).

I know I can't be the only person to "discover" this little problem. And, I don't want to use some elaborate March or Holley drive setup because … TOO $$$ ...
You can see the problem in the pics, and a pic of how nice it looks (on the engine stand).

Krazy Ken...
I'll see if that may be the answer... what is it off of? 12569456 doesn't work in a search.
WAIT! I found it ("Replaces Original (OE) Part #: 12569456, 19258492 Power Steering Pump Pulley (300-137) by Dorman"} ...Dorman 300-137 is it - looks like about $30. Outside dia: 5.224 In.

I almost ordered the dorman 300-137 until I found the used one on ebay for a decent price. I'm not to the point in my swap where im ready to bolt on accessories so I can't personally verify the fitment. They list the specifications of the pulleys here though.

Edit: I copy and pasted the info here in case the link ever gets broken. Take all the specs with a grain of salt as it's not my information. Also pay attention to the pulley ID as the corvette PS pumps use a slightly smaller shaft.

When I ask about accessories I'm asking what vehicle or manufacturer the brackets are from, truck, Corvette, Camaro, Holley, etc. If I'm not mistaken you have the truck accessories.

Smaller pulley definitely looks to be your answer, but also see if you can't move the engine over more toward the passenger side. Won't help with the pulley, but might open up clearance for other parts.

There has been more than one build thread that I have read that used the smaller pulley for clearance with no problems and a cooler is a good idea plus synthetic fluid wouldn't hurt either.
