alright guys, I need help, I am in need of a switch box idea. I'd like to mount my switches in something odd or diffrent, I've seent he 1:24 diecast route, and while that is interesting I'd like to see what else you all may think would be cool, fire off some ideas to me.

my truck will have an old 60's california rat rod feel. I was thinking about a tiki switch box, but that may get difficult trying to mount 10 switches in...for whatever reason I keep coming up with a blank on other ideas..anyone care to post up some ideas, keep in mind I dont have to be completly unique, so if you have seen someone elses cool idea post it up.

thanks for the help,

Jason

cell phone, you'd only have 4 switches if you did it right, but like momentary push buttons, 1 front up, 3 front dn, 4 back up 6 back down, 7 all up, 9 all down, 3 see saw one, 8 see saw two.
I like that!! ***let me call the mini truck god and see if he will grant me a miracle to lay my truck on the frame.....ppppssssttt....there is a god!!!!!*****

Ha! Thats some funny shiz. I'm in the process of baggin right now and I didn't know what I was gonna go for a switch box until I saw it. At radioshack, they have what is called "project boxes" which is just a black rectangular box w/ a billet aluminum cover on top that just screws down. I just drilled my switch and wire holes and it's good to go. You can also get stuff engraved on the top. I'm gonna do some tribal flames. As for the boxes, they look badazz in their simplicity. Clean and simple. It would look good in a custom rat rod. Best of all, it only costs $4.

did the project box in my old white truck

After rollin w/ the project box for a while, I'm sure I'll do many switch box swaps and/or fabbin up something different when I get bored. I like the wd40 and primer can idea. Sounds kinda hard tho. A guy at my school made one out of a manican head (not too bad lookin blonde chick too) and he sets it between his legs while he's hittin switches, lol.

Your damn skippy I am, I was thinking about having the bench actually reapolstered with the mexican blanket instead of just laying one across the bench...

LOL thats pretty good.

I found a tiki riding a surfboard this weekend, the surfboard was not really as thick as I'd like it to be so the wires would be hanging out the bottom, but it was about as close as I have seen yet that I liked.
