word i bought droped spindals from them and afer a month of not recieving them i called them and asked where they were. they told me they didnt have my order so i ordered some from stylin. a week or so later i got the ones from godfathers along with the ones from stylin. also i ended up getting a third set for free. I called godfathers and told them hey you told me i didnt have an order placed here and now i have spindals that i dont want and also i will ship back your extra set you sent me for free. They told me no returns with out some bogus restock fee so **** them. sold both the drop spindals and made a little bit of cash off of them.
moral of the story is **** godfathers customs

 

ha i bought a drop kit for a ranger and received it on time. 2 monthes later i receive another one......i never returned it lol

 

never realy had a problem with them.they always come through when shipping to my friends shop.hell sometimes they deliver and its a four hour drive

 

Are you really going to trash these guys on every forum you can over a pressure switch?

Maybe by takes more time to get things to places they mean that they are waiting on their distributor.

I had a bad experience with them back in 1997 with a door solenoid and have never bought from them again and never will. Customer service was rude and made countless excuses. Burn me once and you will never get a second chance.

 

hell i bought and PICKED UP my order. kicks ass that they are 45 mins away. but their customer service over the phone sucks, hell even in person they are rude but their show room is mostly rims. ohh an they wanted 350 to install a drop kit that was just springs and blocks. lol **** that but then again that was some years ago

i wont order from them either. they sent me a drop kit for the wrong truck and told me no returns or exchanges when it was their fault. so i ended up with a kit i couldnt use and no kit for my truck.

 

is stan still answering the phone over there? Everytime I used to call he answered.

 

i bought a set of bonspeeds through them and it took them forever to get them to me and they kept giving me the run around and telling me bullshit excuses like they where shipped that morning (i heard that one twice in one week) and they finally really shipped them 3 weeks later and still couldnt produce a tracking number like they had said and they would. And they where to include lug nuts in the deal, and they never showed up even after I called them for the set just for the hell of it and they sweared they would ship them out in the morning. I bought them so that I would have them for the show season, and got them in october at the end of the season. I wouldnt ever purchase anything from them again.

 

well heres something else godfather ****ed up......i ordered 4in. drop blocks for my 97-02 s10 and then they sent me universal ones.....the only difference is it comes with plates i think and the angle is a bit different bit it still piss me off

 

I was just going to look up what people were saying about godfather customs before I order from them and by the comments I have heard I don't think that I will order from them now.

but it seems like they have some really good deals on wheels though. I seen in the latest issue of Mini Truckin that there 20'' wheels start at 399 dollars a set. even if it takes a month to get your order that is still one hell of a deal!

but I don't think I will order from them I will go through discounttire.com

i wouldnt put a set of wheels that could cost 399 a set. unless I didnt care about how my truck looked.

 

It sounds like Suicide Doors is about the only people worth dealing with these days. I hope they never end up like this.

Sounds to me like they're hiring random kids rather than People in the scene that would double check what they're sending. How do you not check the lug pattern before shipping a set of wheels? that shipping aint cheap!

 

we used them years ago(over 10) for ground effects(before they were called body kits)....always got the right product,a good product and great service....we are also talking 5-10k a month we spent with them.....sucks they've gone downhill.....

 

I live about an hour from Godfather's and went to buy my springs and blocks for my 01 Blazer (because I didn't want to have to pay shipping). Their web site said they had them in stock, but when I got there, they didn't have the springs. They ended up having to order them (took over 2 weeks to get) and still had to pay shipping.

 

I thought about ordering from them.but from the way it sounds,Ill tyhink twice!
