ok...so ive heard nothing but problems with airlift stuff lately...is it only me?

first problem, both of my 2b6's upfront are pulling apart at the metal chord in the middle, and no, i havent abused them, run too much psi, or anything like that. Also, phil had the same problems with his 2b7s in the back on his SD 5 Link, and since we know that kit isnt made out of alignment, or at a crazy angle like the front with the control arms, im going to venture that its a faulty composite and structure.

heres pics of that...ill have a pic of phils up in a sec also

but now...its not even their bags alone, its also their tanks. Coming home from indy last year, we had to spend another night outside of indy because my buddy's tank had a hole in the bung that just came outta nowhere, again, not too much psi, no abuse, nothing. So we figure hey, freak shit happens all the time, oh well, we went to Gauge in the morning and bought a new tank...it delayed us but no biggie, shit happens. Well now, as my stuff is being redone, its noticed that my tank isnt holding pressure for shit, as it used to when my lines were virtually leak free. So, go around it with some water and this and that, and VOILA....I GOT A BUNGHOLE! lol...no laughing matter because it really sucks that i have to either buy a new tank or get this one repaired and pressure tested and all that crap, because they dont make their tanks quality. Oh well, sucks a big fatty i guess, and im sure no one cares, as ive been told before, but i just am gonna say that from now on, im not going to be buying airlift stuff if i can help it

well thank you very much Corey for the offer, i really do appreciate you taking the time out of your day to come in here and deal with me one on one like that. Unfortunately, i wouldnt feel right accepting a free replacement set of bags, because ive already went ahead and bought Slams, and i would only be taking them to sell to make even on that price. I do however appreciate it, and i might buy some airlifts again in the future as some spares because this is the only problem I've had with them this far. I will however, if the offer is open, take a new 12 gallong tank if thats possible?....it boggles me how ive already seen 2 of these things break apart at the bung, but i really dont know of too many other tank manufacturers out there, so if it is possible, id like a replacement tank. I dont care, ill pay for shipping or whatever is necessary, i just would rather have the safety of a brand new tank, than a welded up one.

and ya, i apologize for comparing you guys to AIM...it was totally outta anger, ive not had the best luck with people this last week or two, but luckily all the guys at Airlift, Suicidedoors, and Custom Classic are great businessman that have taken care of me to the utmost, and in return i will be doing business with all of you in the future, and recommending you of course to everyone i am in touch with. I understand also problems with the product, hell, even multimillion dollar companies have recalls, so im willing to understand and use them again in the future.

sorry if ive sounded like a lil bitch this last week or so, but from my order gettin screwed up, to my LED being broke, to now this stuff happening, ive been less than ecstatic....luckily everyone has helped me out rather than say go fukk yourself, and i am quite grateful

Well guys let me start off by saying sorry that you are having problems and please know that I personally will take care of it. We’re going to replace your guys bags no charge we will also upgrade you to the extreme series bag with an external girdle ring if you want them and we will replace your leaking tank too. The last thing I want is for you guys to think we don’t care and that our product is shit, trust me if we thought it was then there would be no way we would sell it you guys. At the end of the day me along with all the other guys at AirLift are Minitruckers and we want to make sure that you (our customers)are getting the quality product that you expect and deserve. So with that being said anyone with any issues about any product please call me directly (800-248-0892 ext 227), and you have my word that we will make it right, and we will fix the problem and make sure that you will never have these issues again. Again guys I’m sorry that you guys had problems with the bags….Just give me a call and it’ll get taken care of

Thanks

Corey

That makes me MUCH more comfortable knowing that you will be there if anything goes wrong now that I'm putting airlift components in the front of my truck.

Nice to know youll help people out directly unlike FBI who yanks your chain for months at a time. Any chance i can give you a call about possibly replacing my 2b6s? Theyre not very old and have never been abused and im having the same problem with the seperation of that steel ring and it doesnt seem very safe to be rolling around like that. I dunno why they do it but it seems to be a common problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Peeps said it, ill say it again... Airlift is nowhere near as shitty as AIM. Airlift peeps are good peeps and will take care of you.

Slams are badass, I wont run anything but them.

Mark, i warned u bout them bags.

And SLAMnoma, keep on truckin man, Shit happens bro, trust me ive experienced alot of shit first hand. At least your doing your shit right the first time by yourself. Keep at it, it will all be worth it in the end.

Corey is the best and a man of his word!

abot there products I like the fact that when there is a problem ( no product is perfect) they don't just put it aside and send a new one then look into what the problem was and work at making a better bag one little problem at a time.

The fact that they stand STRONG behind there products gives me a better fealing if ever anything should go wrong.

Now this is just my opinion but I think people have more problems with airlift because more people have them installed. :dunno: the ratio is just higher.
