I dropped the front of my truck with 2'' spindles last week to complete mt 4/5 drop on my 82. I am experiencing tire rub in the top if the front wheel tubs when i go around corners. Should i insert shortened spring rubbers or put a sway bar in??

I just put a set of 18's on my 94 with a 3/4 drop and I am running into the same problem. A sway bar isnt going to help you much because the truck still is going to go a little lower around corners. You could go with a lower profile tire and that might solver your problem.
i really dont want to go with a smaller tire. and i dont want to take out the inner fender cus this is my daily driver. im just looking for a way to stiffen it up a bit.
well, i want to do sway bars anyways for handling purposes. so ill do that and see if it helps. i just finished up putting in a steering stop earlier tonight. so i cna turn the wheel all the way finally!
I was having the same problem. I bought some rubber spacers form Pep
Boys, shaved em down and installed em. It just raised my ride a bit.
I run 205/75/15's and the outer fender lip is 2 fingers from the top
of the tire. That's pretty low and I don't scape anymore unless I hit
a bad dip. Good enough for me. I only put one on the r/l sides on
the outside of the coil facing the spindle...works for me..$6.00
well spendt...still on stock length gas shocks
