Does anyone know if 15x8s ever came on any GM product that will bolt up to our trucks? I found some 15x6s and want 15x8s for the rear. Anyone know. I am talking about the plain jane dog dish hubcap style wheels. Thanks.

Not that I'm aware of. Rallys were the only 8" factory steel wheel. Nothing plain. All those were 6 or 7" wide. Back in the day black painted rallys WERE the plain steel wheel on some vehicles. What does it matter? Are you putting hubcaps on them or something? Most plain steelies are just plain ugly.
Unless you have a 50's style custom, whitewalls and spyder caps look ugly to me. There's some aftermarket companies that make non rally steel wheels and I think you can get them in 8" I can't think of the names at the moment.
your best bet would be to try and search for a set from an old cop car, other then rallies, 8" wide wheels were extremely rare back then.
