I'm trying to figure out why my compressor won't run. Where is the low pressure switch so I can jump it? My Haynes manual says it is on the accumulator, but it's definately not there. I have a 96 S-10 with the 2.2L. Thanks for any info! Matt
for some reason i am pretty sure that the low press switch is on the accumulator, along with every other chev... but i cant remember for sure... i havent done any AC on a gen2 dime in a few months.... but if they AC isnt kicking in, and you suspect that switch i wouldnt be jumping it anyway, unless you are looking for an excuse to buy a new compressor...KC10Chief said:I'm trying to figure out why my compressor won't run. Well, I thought that too since every other car I've ever worked on has a low pressure switch on the accumulator. But this one sure doesn't! I've looked everywhere. The high pressure switch was easy to find, but I just can't find the low pressure switch!
