I got my pops to cut out the box for me while I was at work. the box is gonna run the full length of my reg cab. little did I know was that he did cut the two pieces that were supposed to seperate the two subs.

if I keep the box how it is, and not seperate the two subs, will it make a big difference, or should i just go ahead and cut the two more pieces for the box to enclose the two subs??????

You do not need to separate the chambers...the only reason you would need to is for extra box bracing. I would put them in if you can (depending on the airspace needed for the subs). Good luck

it depends. how are you driving the subs? one amp or two separate amps? if two, you are likely better off with the box with a septum (divider), in case parts of your system fail for any reason. there isn't anything wrong with the open box (acoustic coupling), but that calls for different volume.

learn up and good luck :)

well the height is 13"....the bottom depth is 9"...top depth is 4"...and the length, after I put the dividers in will be about 21". I think the recomended space is 1.5. I really don't remember.
Does this sound good to you?

I'm using 5/8" thick MDF.

another ? live. where would be a good place to mount my amp? could I do it right above the box on the plastic part under the window?

I don't just want to throw it back there, and look all ghetto...know what i mean.
