I have been searching around, and asking many questions, but today, I finally started the tear down process of my 2002 2 door, 2 wheel drive blazer. I bought it on Wednesday, and started on friday, gotta love it!:D The blazer will under-go a stockfloor bodydrop fit for a 20/22 combo from the fellas over at barely legal fabrication, the air management is still being pieced together, as well as everything else. Plans are to have it road worthy by next spring/early summer! I will post some pictures once I get the camera up an running. Its been a while, but I am glad to be back to the mini scene. I will be asking many questions, and requesting a lot of help, so bear with me!

no I didnt call Ron yet.. My dad and I are going to use his lift thing. I am calling some auto glass places tomorrow when I get out of work, check and see if they can remove glass... I have never made a request like that before! only fixing broken glass, the cab is 100 percent ready to come off, no doors, as previously stated I would like to get the glass out, but if its not possible without breaking it, we'll go with it in! I will post some pictures by this weekend of the cab off the frame!

heres what we are shooting for, obviously courtesy of graphic disorder, should look like this next spring, minus the painted wheels, because although it looks killer in the rendering, Ill probably steer away from that in real life application.

And i have family from around there and in mason. Im just north of u about 40 miles. I need a lift like u to move my cab back and forth off the frame. hit me up in pm do u have myspace or anything

thanks to everybody, my hopes are that not just I love it, but for all to love it, of course some people would do some things differently, but overall, I go for audience approval lol. Itll be subtle like everything else i do, but in your face at the same time, I think a bodydrop has that effect lol. I have been blessed with an excellent job and parents that let me live at home while still in school, which is the ONLY reason I can afford this stupid stupid hobby lol. I live in Holt, which is just south of lansing, work in the lansing delta township general motors plant, I go all over the place though. The lift is pretty sweet, my dad bought it to remove the bodies off of his classics he builds, its just an engine hoist with an attachment on it. I am glad you all like it, and will keep everyone posted with some pics, should be ordering the wheels next week... Here is my myspace.

yep this is it, it will be sweet, right now, its a hunk of parts, but they all have to start somewhere, you should see the looks you get in a neighborhood when you have a body swaying up in the air haha

thanks guys, and taylor, or richie whoever is using that username, its ready, got everything off the frame you get, a frame, with wheels and suspension, hopefully you can work your magic... this new job is definitely draining on the body and limits my time, but still hopes for spring are in my cross-hairs!

For those who care!
well I am still around, with the new job, and school full time I dont have much free time for... anything. The frame is at barely legal right now. I bought my wheels on monday. I decided against the 20/22 combo, went with some 20 inch intro twisted vistas. Should be here in about a month or so! I will post pictures as soon as I get any more information!

thanks, they really arent that much money in regards to a lot of the wheels I was looking at when i wanted to buy wheels for my trans am. I have wanted intro wheels since my s-10, now I can finally get them. The frame should be done in about 5 or 6 weeks, and the wheels should be here like I said, about 4. I have to pick out tires, so as for the lack of pics right now I apologize. I dont have anything to take pictures of!

No sir you can post them in here! I would appreciate that more, then if I want them I can save them, just make sure they are big! I am talking to my uncle about tires, he can get me a deal. I am thinking some 245/40/20 up front, and 255/45/20 in the rear. I also have a couple other things I have decided but I will just PM you.

minor update: and I mean minor... taylor has informed me that hopefully by tomorrow, he should have some progress pics. I dont know about you guys, but I want to see my frame all cut up! Getting a little bit worried as far as the job goes, I work for GM, we are on strike. I am a temporary employee, hopefully they dont decide to can me! :-(

minor update: Taylor said he should be posting pictures tonight, keep an eye out. Just purchased my tires, figured even though this is a truck, and doesn't need the sporty tires, why not? I bought the nitto INVO series, I was very happy with the nt-555, so these should work fine! 245/35/20 up front, 255/35/20 out back, again, these will be going on my 20x8.5" twisted vistas! i am getting pumped!
