dude if you have came this far just to give up now you are a dumbass. problems happen all the time just work though them and move on to the next one, because we all know there are going to be many more.

keep your head up and get this f-ing thing done!!

time will tell i guess, i am running out of money too which is another fun aspect.
yeah i understand that more then anything. just have to work on what you can when you can. i can't even tell you the amount of time i lost interest or run out of money, but things always seemed to come around.

time well tell luck you said

The firewall issue shouldn't be too hard to fix. It's only sheet metal. Your frame looks good, the horns look fine. When you do custom work like that you will always run into major obstacles. I did on my s10 and I have on my Blazer. Just take your time and work on 1 part at a time and it will come together. I want to see it finished up.
he is 100% right man. try building everything yourself :eek: i have designed and build everything i have from a pile tubing. you pretty much got the frame back done, other then a couple thing you had to fix. which like said above you are going to have to do. there is always going to be time were things get hard, but what you do at those time is what make or breaks things. you just have to sit back a look at the whole picture.

as for the sponsorship thing you just need to talk to them and see what they want of you. i'm talk to many people too. i told them right up front the truck would not be done till 2010. you just have to give them something to look forward too.

stay strong and finish the thing. you will be much happier in the end if it is you that finish it and not the person you sell it too.

that all depends on how bad the horns are hitting th core support. if it is only a little cut the support up. just make sure the radiator still fits in place too. i would hate for you to fit everything then have to fit that too

if you stop being such a mangina you would be haha

i have to agree. man if i lived closer to you i would finish the damn thing for you and give it back ready to paint. just so i could stop reading the cry baby post.

shit or got off the pot my friend!!!

if building a truck worst not a pain in the ass everyone would have one. just deal with the problem you are facing and move on to the next one, because i will let you know right now once the fire wall is done there will by something else to take its place on the problem board. good luck

trust me I am trying to get off the pot everyday my friend...:haha:

forgive my "cry baby posts" but you apparently don't know how it is shitting money away. as you obviously are awesome enough to do your own work. unfortunately I don't have the luxury. So I have to trust others to do it for me. When you give somebody 1100 dollars to do something, only to have to cut it out two weeks later... not exactly something ANYBODY would be too happy about. This thread is to highlight my build. Sorry, that is part of my build.

I've got interest in the truck, so maybe you can tune into the new build thread that somebody may or may not start.
haha you wish

pissing money away it part of it. i have changed more then you will ever put in this thing. my truck has been rebuild 3 times so don't start telling me i know nothing of pissing money away. if you don't like wasting money on thing that may or may not need to be changed you are in the wrong hubby man. it suck more than anyone will tell you but it all is paid off when you finish what you started.

i can understand that you are pissed at the people that have f-ed you over, but maybe you need to slow down and find some good place to take this thing too instead of rushing to finish it. do a lot of research before you take it some where. see what that place has turned out, talk to the people the work was done for. ask to help so you can learn and make sure it is being done the right way.

sorry i know how to fabricate man. i learned everything i know by doing it and learning form other people.

X2 I have spent $$$$ on mine spent 3 years so far and am looking at, at least one more. I was like you when I started wanting to get it done but I have come to grasps that it takes time.
it suck but it is the truth. time and money take a shit load of both

well hats off to all of you. there is NO reason this should've taken this long. funny thing is, it's nowhere near being done yet.

i am not happy with the frame. i am not happy with the bodywork. the bodywork can be redone, sure. just pissed that it has to be. the frame... not so easy. should've been done right the first time, and sure I could build another way (pay to build another one) but why? we'll see where it ends up.
what wrong with the frame now. still the core support thing or something new???

i hate to say this but that is why you never finish anything before ALL the body has been fitted and everything lines up and fits right. believe me i'm talking from experience here. live and learn man.

things will get changed. The truck is being put to the side for a while. Won't be done this year for sure. I have to do some thinking as to whether it will ever get done as I plan on moving in about a year.

It will sit since nobody wants to buy it, and things will get changed. Simple.

i think that is the best thing you can do man. you need a little time to think about what you want out of it. plus gives you the time to get money around and finishing plans. hope it works out for you man

well like everyone else is saying if i had the money i would take it off your hands. you may have to wait just a little longer tax refunds are coming back soon. i'm sure you will sell it after that

good man nice to hear you are going to finish her off. just take it slow and do what you can. looking forward to seeing this thing finished
