This is a little off topic, but I figured out of all the places I am a member you guys are most likely to be able to help....

Basically, I'm looking to find a pitman arm for my RHD Blazer, this is apparently obsolete and no one in the aftermarket supplies these parts. I can't believe Chevy made them for only this model either.

So I've got my hands on a used one, and got some photos and dimensions off it.

It looks similar to a 64 Chevy Impala one, but I could do with someone measuring one of those to verify....

The arm from the blazer measures approximately 5 1/2" centre to centre and has a 1 1/2" offset.

The pictures show the shape, it's cranked to clear the frame.

Anyone able to check for me? I know it's a long shot....

Too bad the LLV is 2wd and that is a 4wd pitman arm...

I would think that the right shop should be able to rebuild it for you.

Edit: read in another forum you should be able to take a new LHD arm, have the joint removed and pressed into your RHD arm.
