Not twisted wrenches on cars or trucks for way to many years.. I have a lot of time twisting wrecks on Army Aircraft.. rebuilding 2002 Chevy S10 2.2l with my Grandson. I’m looking for reliable Repair Manuals.. I purchased a 96-2004 Haynes. So far I’m not impressed.. Downed loaded manuals from a site called WiseOnes… they got my money ! Can anyone steer me to a reliable source to get reliable and technical Repair and Overhaul Manuals ?

The Haynes and Chilton's manuals are good material for starting fires. They are usually somewhat generic, often multi-year, and incomplete in some areas. The same is pretty much true for any of the other manuals, whether hardcopy or on CD - typically cheap imitations. Your best bet is to get a set of GM FSMs (Factory Service Manuals). Here's a link that may help you track down a set: 2002 chevy s10 factory service manuals - Google Shopping.

I’ve had good experiences with workshopmanuals.org for finding reliable repair manuals. They offer technical and thorough manuals that are often more detailed than Haynes. They have a range of up-to-date manuals that doesn’t cover anywhere. I’ve used their site for comprehensive repair guides, and it worked well for me.
