hmm well there are MANY general possibilities of the cause for this

hmmm

distributor or pickup sensor

ground wire

module

coil

ign fuse

and it goes on from there


w2hat exactly was worked on and disturbed

how did you set the distrib back in?
did you stab it in with cylinder one to TDC of the CR and rotor pointing right on the #1 wire tower?

its really is hard to guess and see without being there at the truck

if it ran fine before this work done to it then its gonna be somrthing minor and stupid

 

Well i put it back in pointing a #1 post on cap at tdc
i have 12 volts in, 5 volts out while cranking, there's ground to coil.
i put in a new ignition module.
this things messing with me.
nothing was changed on the distributor except the module the rotor
turns...
I cant find good wiring diagrams for this thing to find what its missing
like should there be 12volts going into the distributor or should there
be five volts and which wire would that be or is low voltage...
please help
