NEED HELP WITH SHIFTER CONVERSION! For you that have done it

Quick question for you all that have done the converstion.

One the base of the shifter, what does that 5 prong connector plug into?!?!

I am thinking the "press brake to shift from park" thing..

is this correct?!!

If so....

How do I connect that from the column shift?!

(that is what I am doing.. converting the column to floor shifter)

I ended up not using my park/lock solenoid...Your safety neutral will still stay inact though...I zip tied it in the open position...

You see the black plastic box at the base of the shifter with the white circular thing on it? That plastic clip above it is used to push the clip out so it comes out of park/reverse. Just zip tie it so it's "open". Best I can do, sorry if it's no help

your website, you wondering how to keep the thing to stay in "park" on the column? Just wire the two wires together that go into the switch that the lever hits when it's in park.

That is right!! We tested that and it would have the test light on but when you pressed the brake it completed the circuit and the test light went out! THANK YOU!!!
