its a 88 s10 blazer. is there anything i can do to the flasher relay to get my blinkers working agian??

 

you need some resistors.

 

You can put resistors in line, or you could just buy an "adjustable" flasher. They are sold in most auto parts stores. You need to remove yours first to determine if your flasher is a "two pin" or a "three pin" unit and buy the same number of pin adjustable unit. LED's don't have enough resistance to activate a stock flasher.

 

i know the blinker relay is a 2 pin but not entirely sure where the flasher relay is located

 

I'm having the same issue. Wired in 2 wire LED lights to the Blue and the black on the passenger side and to the other on the driver leaving the brown running light disconnected. They flash and the upper lights in the grill with just 2 wires going to it flash also when the lights are off but as soon as you turn on the running lights they are all on constant and just turn off when you click on the turn signal. Just need a solutin fast. I have no need fro front running lights.

 

The flasher is located in the "convenience center" under the dash. Some models have a "swing down" panel and some later models have it to the right of the steering column. There is a "hazard" flasher and a turn signal flasher. Hope this helps.

 

The hazard is back with the buzzer box and the turn signal is down with the fuses.

 

so an electronic flasher will fix my blinkers when my running lights are on?

 

picked up a electronic flasher and that fixed it. cheap fix

 

perfect going to get one now. now to only fix the speedo and wiper motor

 

they let me test it in my car before i bought to make sure it was going to work
