i have an 01 x blaze with the automatic floor shifter. i recently purchased a new billet knob for it and i cant for the life of me figure out how to get this damn thing off. i have been searching high and low and came up with a few people stating that there is a clip in front of the handle and to use a small screwdriver to pry the clip and it should slide up.. prob im having is that i do not see any clip nor set screws.. i dont see shit..i got the billet shifter knob from buickgn.com and he says the same thing with the clip in the instructions he sent.. idk??????? any help would be great... thanks

about half way down the knob there should be a slot a little more than 1/4" wide. the clip might be deep enough to be hard to see but it should be in there
The clip will look like a window crank clip, and you should be able to get it out with a dental pick, or a paper clip if you bend it right.
