its monoleafed. im only running shocks in the rear. and to figure out the range, i found where my mounts were gonna be (upper and lower) and layed the truck out and measured the distance. and add an inch for safety. then do the same with it aired up. add an inch for safety. then go get them ordered. as for brand, i had monroe.

toxic shocks are really stiff. id go with the hard body shocks bought mine at autozone for like 15$ a piece.

shouldnt matter where you put it. Just make sure it doesn't limit your suspension travel up or down. and check where you are gonna mount it when the truck is aired up and layed out, so you know nothing will get in the way. Spend 20 minutes and take the 8 bolts off that hold on the bed. Get an extra guy to help you lift it off. The job will be way easier once you can see everything!

undo the 3 screws around the gas filler neck
take out your taillights and push the wiring harnesses down through the bed to get them out of the way
undo those 8 bed bolts
you and a friend lift the bed off and set it up on saw horses or whatever.

cant legally drive the truck like that without wiring up some taillights, and putting your plate on there. I believe you are technically suppose to have some type of fenders or flaps protecting your tires from throwing rocks too
