Well I figrued I would start a project thread on my truck since it will be going through some major changes in the upcoming months... The first of which was replacing my two load ass Viair Compressors with a quiet York 210. Following that will be a new 4 link and new fenders all the way around and a box welded in the bed to hide my train horns.......

So check back and see where I'm at!!!!

In the trash... they are both garbage... sorry

and yeah the bracket slides... I'm kinda happy with it... could have been a little better but not too bad... when I pull it all back apart I'll put some pics of it up...

the pulley was the hardest thing to find.. had to go through onboardair.com Noone around here had one or even heard of it....

Hose for the york came from a radiator shop.... its expensive to buy but well worth it considering the amount of pressure and how fast it fills and the heat that the engine+York give off!!!

well my front end came in today... (Sonoma/Envoy) I'm going to be putting HID lights in.. and getting a billet grille eventually but for now stock will do... its the paintable front end..... I should be starting on it by tomorrow if not Sunday... I will be sure to take pics and get them in here asap!!!

the Comp is on a 98 4.3L I'm mostly satisfied.. the bracket isn't perfect but it works.. I have to go in a retighten it once a month cause it slips up... so I will have to come up with a way to fix that...

and as for the front end.... I put the headlight and grill in today (took about 15 min) but is was too damn hot to crawl up under the truck and pull the bumper... I'm at work now so I will have to take pics tomorrow and get them up! but it looks really good.. I like the Sonoma front end alot better than the S10 front!!

well guys got the bumper on yesterday... this pic is kinda bad but the truck is still dirty.. and I haven't cleaned it so this is all you get for now.

and for my last "forced" project... when I was putting my bumper cover on.... I noticed that the mount for my Compressor bracket had broken off and it was a matter of time before this thing fell off completely... So I have a before and after pic..

long story short I pulled the upper fan shroud.. fan... alternator... and the bracket that has the tensioner and another pulley off just to fix this..

I had it welded back together and a spacer put in for extra support and instead of two bolts I put one long one all the way through!!

I would def suggest this to anyone whos bracket mounts the same as mine!!!

and here is the project that I'm knee deep in...

now understand that these two pics are without any sanding whatsoever.. and some really shitty fiberglass matte.... it was kinda old... so I have alot of bondo work to do and alot of sanding to put it straight... and if I can get a concept design up I'll post it too!
