Been working on it for a while. I bought it bagged, didn't like the way the orginal owner did things so I tore it all apart, sold everything, and started over. This is how she sits now.

Notta clue. I bought the OBX header off eBay and that's how it came in. I think it is suppossed to be ceramic coated or look that way.

Finally, got to paint! It still needs wetsanded and buffed. My crappy cell phone pics make the paint look a little orange but trust it is extremely bright red.

No doubt. The deeper I get in, the more I change. I got a plan for this truck. Just need funds now. Fml haha

I plan on either taking a stiff brush to the carpet to loosen it all up and hitting it with black carpet/vynle paint or ripping it off and putting new on. I figured it would have been a pain in the ass taping the carpet off.

Ill be sending you all my interior parts... K thanks... Lol JK. Stuff looks killer! Love the red!

#46 ·
And I need a set of those column plastics lol

#47 ·
Haha this column pieces were actually for a column shift. I glassed over the holes because I'm cheap like that. haha

hmmmmm.... you may have given me an idea.....

im trying to like this build. really i am. You clearly have some talent and do good work and it shows in alot of your build. Then in other places i scratch my head and wonder what happened and what were you thinking. :dunno:
Im really scratching my head at the fact you didnt just take that entire center console apart then paint it instead of spraying red all over the carpet

I figured trying to tape off carpet wasn't worth the hassle because I probably would have got red paint on the edges of the carpet anyways. Also I'm not keeping the charcoal color of he carpet. Tomorrow I am going to spray it black after I take a stiff brush to it. I'm sure that will cover the red. If not ill rip it off, cut new fabric, and glue it on. I've never really had anyone how me how to do anything. Everything I've done/learned has been from either getting in there and getting my own experience or reading up online. I may not do things 100% the correct way but I try and if it doesn't turn out well....well I'll start over. Lol

haha I like the thumbs up! I've been pretty busy here lately and haven't got to work on the truck but here's an update for you Gimp. I got the carpet sprayed black and it looks outstandinger than hell! lol I forgot to take a pic so I will tonight and hopefully get the dash back in tonight as well.

#53 ·
Well finally got the dash in! Sorry the truck is so damn dirty and tools are laying everywhere. I had a bustin' headache and just wanted to go home. lol

where are you mounting your fuse box and ECU?

#55 ·
that interior looks sick by the way!

#56 ·
It's all behind the dash. All that wa done before the dash went in. The fuse box is right behind the glove box door and the exit is in the center along with the bcm.

#59 ·
How many wires did you have to extend to put all that behind the dash?

#60 ·
Ummmmm most all of them

#61 ·
Ugh not fun....

So it has been a long time since I posted. I've been super busy with buying a new house, starting a new job, and getting married but now I'm ready to get back on my mini!
Suede headliner. I've also done the doors in suede but I don't have a pic. I added a dome light from a 01 Dodge Ram. It looks a lot better then that ugly rectangle light.

Useless headlight switch and usb outlet hardwired.

Motor is about 90% done.

Dash put most of the way together. I have gloss black speaker covers and the fuse box door is also red. Still too poor to buy carpet! haha

I bought the truck already bagged from another guy and he hacked the spring pocket to the extreme. I'm just now getting around to fix it. Spring pocket before and after.

I also don't have pics of the shock towers I've added, new brake line brackets I've installed, a pic of the truck with the front finally laying fully out, and sway bar I've added with f150 end links done differently.
