Aim isn't one of the most well liked companys on this forum, your better off getting all of the fittings compressor tank valves and putting them together. Probably cheaper in the log run anyways. My smc 3/8 valves say 150 but I run 200. Maybe they mean that's what they can hold like n the bag, and I doubt anyone will get close to that

Here's a little story.

I have a friend who moved to AZ last fall and happened to get a job at AIM assembling the plug n play kits. As he was testing one one day, he found one that had a bad compressor or valve or something, some part of it didn't work. He told Joe about it and he didn't care. He just told him to get it finished up because they had to get it sent out.

So Joe knowing sent out a bad unit but he didn't care because all that mattered was getting it sent out the door to make another. Needless to say, my friend did not work there long.

In 97 I had to put a car back together that they butchered at there shop and drive it to North Phoenix. Never been so scared in my life.

the box it came in??

to the OP... you'll have waaaaaayyyy better luck with suicidedoors.com, store.gaugemagazine.com, krisdyefabrication.com, newmatics.com, airbagparts.com, ridetech.com... so many to list. (so many better than AIM anyways...)

People on this forum along with tons of other forums will hate on anything aim has...

Nearly my whole setup is from aim, Yeah, I've had problems with it, but they've been pretty good to help me replace / fix anything thats broken.

With that being said, I am running the 1/2" plug and play, consisting of the new "air engine", and the dc7500 compressor. This was a HUGEEE upgrade to my old plug and play that consisted of the 1/2" "red" valves as they call them. that thing was nothing but problems...

I run the new plug and play on my daily driver, and have had zero problems out of it. Not saying its the best kit out there, but its pretty good in my honest opinion.

here are some pics of my plug and play.

^^typical sd bandwagoneer.

not doubting their quality, or parts or service, as i have ordered from them before, but jeez people, there are WAY more companies out there than sd that still offer great products, great service and low prices.

Verry true there are other good companys like kris dye, grant kustoms, but i build most everything i need but some things are priced cheaper than i could build them. Aim is crap period.!

No offense colbye but you had to replace damn near every part in your pnp box, then had the company dodge your emails and then the owner went on another forum and basically called you a dumbass, granted you had them "ship everything seperatly" which supposedly caused the shotty product. But a legit company won't let their product go out if it doesn't work right, period. Believe me I'm glad your stuff is good now and you have a nice bagged truck, but the shit you had to go through really wasn't worth it IMO. And don't bash on people that back a company like SD because they actually have what's known as "quality control".

wow thanks for eveyones help this forum has been the best help i could get!

and how depressing that my home town air ride shop is... possiably the worst by the sounds of it?

ive decided to buy all the parts seperatly and to assemble everything with time and care. i cant have faulty parts on my daily driver.

now maybe someone in this thread can help with my other issue im having. i have the 2pc drive shaft and dont know what the correct way to set pinion angle is at ride height...

i posted this problem up in another thread and not really any hits. im really stuck because one person says just measure off the back angle and another person will say i have to shim my tranny and carrier bearing and then yet someone else has told me only the carrier bearing.

i wanted to do a basic yet strong weld on 4 link but now with this headache its making me wanna save up for a dang bolt on.

and yet again i was told with a bolt on i still have to shim this and that and i dont but i do and no one has exact info

PLEASE HELP!
