so i got a 2.2 95 and is got a weird problem that is VERY annoying
If you put more than light throttle on it during acceleration, it will fall on it's face. That's as if not enough fuel is added for the air you're giving it thru throttle position.
No codes stored, so I did a meter check on TPS, it showed bad. Replaced TPS. Test drove, problem still there. Checked MAP sensor, it checked same as full throttle with key on/ engine off. So replaced that, too. Test drove, problem still there.
Next checked coils and coil connections. Coils metered out OK. Pulled plugs and set them at .050" to get a little stronger spark if the air's blowing the spark out if it's weak. Test drove, problem still there.
Took the ground cable off the battery for 15 minutes, and made a ground wire to attach from the body to the engine, hooked the battery back up, test drove, and ....problem got worse! Took that ground wire off, test drove, and it's back the way it was....
so anyone that could help out that would be amazing! thanks guys
