yup, same fluid i am using on my 2.2 5 speed.

I do fluid and filter every 30,000 miles

I use the shop on base.....having lift makes it really easy.

Jack it up on the rear axel. Set stands under it. Then jack up each side of the front frame rail and set a stand on it while trying to keep the truck as level as possible.

If you don't have 4 stands: jack truck up on driver side, take an old section of garden hose and drop it down through the engine bay and put it in the fill plug hole. Then put the truck back on the ground and add fluid through garden hose with a funnel until fluid begins to spill out fill plug hole. Jack it up once again and install plug.

great stuff, royal purple synchromax really reduces tranny noise and it shifts like butter :cool:
