yes i have searched ALOT, and still cannot figure out which wire to use.

>>i do not have the purple/white wire behind my radio<<

where can i splice into my vss wire for my overhead console? 94 4.3 s10

i tried the yellow wire coming from the speedo into the buffer box.. and it didn't work (not sure if i got the right wire but i don't want to cut up all the yellow ones back there). i tried looking behind my radio, that being the most common, and i don't have the purple/white wire. i don't know where else i can try and splice into!!:blah:

well i spliced into the yellow wire at the cruise control box, drove around for about 30 mins so it could reset and no luck. i let the truck sit overnight and drove around long roads at 50+ and no luck.

So then i replaced the temp sensor with a brand new one... and no luck.
its grounded directly to the battery so that isnt the problem, i guess my next step is to pull the console down and run a short wire from their to the sensor and ground the sensor and see if i pinched the long wire running from the console to the sensor, unless anyone else has some suggestions?

i know on my 92 blazer. i found the vss wire coming off the drac that is piggy backed on my computer. not sure if they still put it there in a 2nd gen
