need some help

well i got a ticket in my silverado on thursday, for my license plate being to low. well i have to fix it now. this is what it looks like now.

well im doing a full skin. but my question is where should i put my plate? should i do it like my dime? i cant think of and idea i like. i dont want to spend the 200+ for a motorized retractable plate. id really like some help. my plate has to be 12 inchs miniumum off the ground at all times now. i hope you guys can give me some good ideas.

just put it like you have in your s10, but on the other side of the tailgate. thats probably your best option man.

my votes for it like the dime. thats the only place i would put it if i put mine in the gate. looks best there, imo. your truck tho so u decide. just please dont angle it. it makes it look outta place. to me atleast.

yea, im deff. not angling it. i think it looks out of place angled beside the body line. can anyone photoshop a plate in the gate? i just have no idea on how it would look.

Plate moved with smooth roll pan.

Plate moved. Full skin, shaved 3rd brake light and cab seams.

danm!!! i think im going to so that. full skin, third brake light and cab seams. that looks bad ass! thanks alot for the help, that looks sick i think. better then i thought. and thanks for all the comments. heres one from the side and front for everyone.

cant do rear window, it has to be on the rear most part of the truck. i asked the question when i went to see the judge. thanks thow.

stupid laws.... i dont even want a plate! just all smooth... but i dont want it sticking up pats the bed either. so i guess tailgate it is. looks good thow i think, way better then i had pictured.

just air it up and say "there i fixed it". other than that i like the photoshop of the back, looks perfect

yea i did air it up when i got stoped. so he wrote "license plate was not 12inchs off the ground at time of stop". so the judge said i have to fix it. i have 30 days.

i cant believe there is dickhead cops out there like that. who seriously gets a ticket for stuff like that. verbal and written warnings, whatever... but a ticket! damn those must be some prick cops around your area

yea man im with ya. i couldnt belive i got a ticket for that. ive never even heard about the plate having to be 12 inchs off the ground from bottom. i think that day they where all trying to meet there quota. and for the record he was a campus cop. thats probably why, he need'd to feel like he was making a difference. oh well, now i have reason to put a full combo!
