2.2 exhaust?

or a better question, is there even a beefy sounding exhaust setup FOR the 2.2 engine.

i dont want anything as loud as a vette, just something more

anyone have an exhaust on theyre 2.2?

I had a s10 with a 2.2 with no converter and i just installed a glasspack and i liked the shound of it. It was louder than stock but not annoyingly loud.

pretty much any after market muffler will make it sound louder, i like dynomax, it doesnt pop.

Dynomax Super Turbo is by far the best sounding thing to put on a 2.2 4-banger. Deep mellow sound, nothing high pitched or poppy like a ricer muffler.

gibson is pretty good, thats what i've got on mine, doesnt sound ricey, almost deep and throaty like a john deere mower on crack

I've got a y pipe welded on to the end of a tuned(turbo) glasspack after the cat with 4 inch by 18 inch chrome tips and it sounds pretty damn good and i love the popping....it sounds deep and mellow at all times

That work with all the stock stuff then? Do I need the exhaust clamps then as they are under the suggested parts with the muffler?

magnaflow sounds good, i have all stock piping on my 2.2 but i have a magnaflow high flow cat and a magnaflow stainless steel muffler coming out before my right rear wheel. sounds perfect. not to loud but not too quiet. no tin or rasp

i did no cat with an o2 simulator and a 50 series flowmaster and a z28 tip in front of my back passenger side tire. here is a vid:

I had a flowmaster 40 series 2.5 in pipe and a single side exit exaust on my 2000 s-10 2.2. it sounded really nice and low, everyone thought i had v6. plus i liked the pops and gurggles

I have no cat and Dynomax and it sounds pretty good. Not too loud and a little rumble while idleing!!!!!!!!

once again i agree. the dynomax super turbo sound awesome on a tutu and they arent that expensive. just go to advance auto parts and they sell them right off the shelf for like 40-50 bucks. go 2.5"

thrush turbo i think its around 30$ all i did was clamp it on and had to drill a hole for a bracket and all together it cost about 50$ mabe a little less and it sounds kick ass deep sounds a little like my friends 6cyl no lie and he has a raven exaust on his....check it out !!!
