All 8 of my vavles just click when i hit a switch. i know i have enough pressure because the pressure switch cuts the compressors off. Im pretty sure everything is wired right and the valves arent frozen. What else could be the problem?
Well, if you are in Warren, Michigan, its 29 right now. That is still below freezing. The valves can easily be frozen shut. If you hear a click, that can still mean they are trying to open. Right now, my front valves are frozen and if I hit the switch, they will click but won't move. Also, I have plenty of pressure in my tank. If they were working fine, then all of a sudden, they don't work and you can't figure out what else it could be, dump hot water on the valves (if you can get to them easily). Then try hitting the switches right after.dragin-noma said:All 8 of my vavles just click when i hit a switch. i know i have enough pressure because the pressure switch cuts the compressors off. nope 12+ is good , I would go with what was stated above. do you have a guage on your tank?dragin-noma said:DJDAudio - i hooked up a multimeter to one of the valves and its sending 14v to it, would this be the problem or no?
he never said it wasn't.HouseOfAtlas said:If there was no pressure in the tank, wouldn't the truck be on the ground right now???
Don't you mean, "he never said it was"Scrapin S15 said:he never said it wasn't.
Make sure ur check valve for the compressor is not backwards and if u have that on right back sure ur airlines goin into the valves arent goin into the side of the valve that is the dump side, u can use either valve as an up and a dump but the air has to flow through the valves the right way so that would be ur best bet to check those. good luckdragin-noma said:All 8 of my vavles just click when i hit a switch. i know i have enough pressure because the pressure switch cuts the compressors off.
