relay question..

this might be a really dumb "captian obvious" sorta question..but i just gotta know from you guys..

is it alright if the relay's get wet? cuz i just saw a pic of what looks like corrosion on a relay..and i have my relays under my bed..so yea..

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, its probably not a good thing, but you should be ok. Keep an eye on it and if it gets bad, eh replace it.

yea, i figured someon would say that but in a harsh "stfu noob" sorta way lol but this works ahha thats why i put the whole captian obvious thing..eheheheheheh

i had a relay in my bed throughout the summer and i'm sure it got wet seeing as i have a hole in the bed, but, it worked fine. however it realy isnt the best idea if you can put it someware it wont get wet(like the cab like you said) it would prolly be allot better for you, g'luck-alex

bitches love bondo hahah nice planning on shaving their cracks? :haha: lol jk jk, but yea imma try and do that, i'll do it wen i jack up the truck later on to install the bags, right now i only have the otehr stuff in.thanks!

hey, if you have both the relay and the socket you can put a thin layer of caulking or even grease between the two to keep it dry. I had to do that with my valve qiring. Just an idea...

hmm that sounds really good too, i'll try do that if i feel that its too much of a hassle to move it in the cab, thanks for the idea!

hell wrap a plastic bag around it and ziptie it shut then put some sealent down. good temp watter boot lol.

i took a relay out of its plastic shell once and hooked it up so it was constanyl tripping in a cup of water...had it in there for 10 hours and it still tested fine on my snap on super smart relay tester....not saying its right but i did that one night while bored
