 hey fellow ZR2 owners, I know that www.zr2.com is a good forum, but we need to represent here at S10.com. I want to know what you are all doing to your trucks so I can have some ideas about what to do. I've had mine about 6 months and have a somewhat limited budget. Lets get this thing started. I'll post some pics of my truck later. Until then I'll be=>

cbr, what kind of problems are you having?
Superlift does make a 6" and a 2.5" (check the GP section!), BDS makes a 5". That's the only suspension options for us, unles you want to do a SFA swap.

you guys may have to bear with me because I'm not sure exactly how to use this site and what the abbreviations mean. so what is GP and BDS? i have found a body lift it is 2 in and made by performance accessories. and i saw the superlift kit but what is a good price for it and do i have to do any fabricating? does it come with everything i need or do i have to buy drive shafts, axles or anything else?:burnout:

I think by GP he is referring to group purchase which is one of the forums listed on the site. The forums link is a tab located at the top of the page. I think BDS is just a company but I don't know. Have to get somebody else to help you on that one.

Yea, GP is 'Group Purchase'. I've got one going for the Superlift 2.5" right now. You won't find a better price for the front kit than this. Anytime I want something for my truck I try to get as many people involved as possible that want the same thing. Then I shop around for the best price. Most companies will give us a good discount if we tell them we are buying 10 or more at the same time. A couple of weeks of haggeling and everyone gets a great price. :)
BDS is the company that makes a 5" suspension lift for the Z's.
Superlift makes two kits, a 2.5" mentioned above and a 6". The 2.5" comes with everything you need up front and you buy either AAL's (Add-A-Leafs) or shackles for the back. You can buy Superlift's stuff for the back but you can get it cheaper from other companies.:)

The best thing I've done so far is the K&N Generation II FIPK (filter injection performance kit, I think). It's a little pricey, around $300, but it's worth it.
