I have a 1998 blazer that I am dropping a 5.3 in. I decided I would take a shot in the dark and try and do the wiring myself and I pretty much have got it but the oil pressure gauge max's out and my scan tool will not connect to my computer. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks
 
Sounds like you might have the tan to the oil press gauge crossed with a wire, or not hooked up to it.

Make sure the DLC Pin 2 is connected directly to the proper Serial Data Pin on the PCM you are using.
 
Still chasing a fuel gauge issue myself thought my sender was bad so i replaced it and that was not the problem it worked before the swap.... Let me know if you figure it out. Im just keepin it topped off for now.
 
!997-up has a different ohm reading for the gauge, as well as some kind of module for that..
