Stock u-bolts question?

Are the nuts that come with drop kits the same nuts that would work on stock u-bolts?

I have stock u-bolts I want to install to get rid of my drop blocks. I went to Lowes and Home Depot, nobody has nuts that will fit the stock u-bolts. The ones that are on the drop blocks/u-bolts right now are rusted away so I need to get new nuts but don't know where to get them. Was thinking about just getting a block kit, keeping the nuts and selling the blocks.

Try an automotive parts store like autozone or pepboys or napa. Or even the chevy dealership. Maybe even lmc would have them. Or a pick-and-pull.

any hardware store including napa also. i dont see what the big deal is. i would just use regular or poly insert lock nuts and washers, would work fine..
