so today my dad finished building my sub box and put it in my truck. we turned the radio up to listen to it and there was nothing but static in the speakers not in the sub. we un hooked the speakers and put other ones on and theres still static. so we took the radio out and looked at all the wires and moved stuff around and still.. static. does anyone know what this could be? me and my dad are stumped.

yeah we checked everything. we just went and bought a new radio to see if that was the proablem and my dad is going to rewire everything. hopefully this makes it stop. lol
ok so i think it was the old radio i had. we just finished rewiring everything and put the new radio in and the static stopped.

lol did i hear you say you built the box? id still like to see your woodwork if you dont mind
umm.. im not sure. i just picked up some 3 x 5 sheets of wood that where about 1/4 in thick at home deopt. there wasnt anything there saying what it was just the price. they didnt even have them in their computer >.<. and thats a vent hold for the sub. i have 1 on each side.
if it were me man id go get MDF i think you can get a 6 foot sheet at lowes for 25 bucks...sound alot better
