I have been searching around, and asking many questions, but today, I finally started the tear down process of my 2002 2 door, 2 wheel drive blazer. I bought it on Wednesday, and started on friday, gotta love it!:D The blazer will under-go a stockfloor bodydrop fit for a 20/22 combo from the fellas over at barely legal fabrication, the air management is still being pieced together, as well as everything else. Plans are to have it road worthy by next spring/early summer! I will post some pictures once I get the camera up an running. Its been a while, but I am glad to be back to the mini scene. I will be asking many questions, and requesting a lot of help, so bear with me!

its either 04 or 05, buts its regarded as the best thing ever brought to the mobile side of audio, it retailed for like 5000 US dollars, and there is only a few of these in the states...
In referring to the processor a very respected audiophile stated:

"The RS-P90 is the best damn 2-channel processor ever designed for car audio.
"

That was the previous version, mine is upgraded from that... :)

No "asshole" assumption made! I didnt spend nearly that much on it. Granted it was more than most people spend on entire systems, but, this will not only be my show truck. I plan on competing with it in sound competitions when all is said and done. Its a passion of mine, it has been since I started driving. I love having good sound, it used to be more bass the better, but I have gone a completely different direction. If you see it at a show next year, I will gladly show you what I will come up with!

Yep I live in Lansing michigan, which is smack dab in the center. I plan on making it to ITB, as well as Havoc, but nothing set in stone. I have to get the truck done first. Id love to check out that fabbing in the cab of your truck, I almost pulled the trigger on buying it, glad another forum member bought it!

That is the thought for now, is it more boring? Yes, is it more subtle? Yes, will it allow me to do what I want interior wise and accent my audio more? Yes. A bunch of yes answers, and I am sure you guys will all still not like the idea lol

the color is slightly darker than the Reventon color. I dont know whether PPG is going to carry that color, taking into consideration that car has a manufacturing number of 20 cars lol. Do you like the color posted?

Its not so much that, getting it all done. Its tying everything together that I want to achieve. With a simple paint scheme on the outside it allows me to go with my black themed interior, without any clashes. (which is a plus) That, and as I stated in my other thread, I have taken a strong liking for simple and subtle things, I cannot explain that lol:p

i vote for the paint scheme to stay as the rendering. it looks :boobies:

but it's your decision, and i'm sure it will look awesome no matter what.
Thats my feelings at this point in time. I am more concerned about getting it closer to completion. Right now I haev nothing but a frame sitting there. The paint will look good no matter what, but the truck is nothing until I get it closer to done.:D

Today will be a progress day! I plan on cleaning up the frame. I've got some scuffy pads, and some cleaning stuff. Also, got up nice and early today because I knew I had some stuff coming from FEDEX. My amps came. Sinfoni, you may not know what that brand is ( i Didnt either ). They are hand made amps out of Italy, very sexy. Pictures are always fun! ;)

I have a LOT more pictures, but those show the gist of it. They each had their own little suede bag lol. There is a 4 channel, to power my midrange and tweeters, another 4 channel that I will bridge to two channels to power my midbass, and a 2 channel that I will more than likely bridge to power a sub.

not in the back, dont know why they didnt put any. I will be putting them on in the front. I have the new control arms with the mount set into the arm itself, so its not protruding! www.distinctusa.com is the only place you can find any decent information on them, and even that isnt very good, but it shows retail pricing lol. I bought them from a dealer I know in New Jersey.

I guess we just assumed you were going to put them on all 4 corners...

Give a call today, we will send you a shock kit out for the rear today for free, sorry for the confusion man, but i honestly had in my mind that you were installing them on your own, when you picked out a shock. It wasnt on the estimate that was written up, so i must have overlooked it.

dont worry, we will take care of you on it!

again sorry for the confusion.

Thanks kenny
