Shift controller for 700r4 questions...

Is there a way to put on a push button shift controller on a 700r4 for a 2wd s10...

What I want to do is be able to use buttons to control how my tranny shifts since it is computer controlled somewhat, isn't it??

Does the computer tell it when to shift from 1-2, 2-3, 3-4?, if so Is there a module I can get where i can chose 123or4?

I think there is a programmer tool that you can use to change shift points... if that is what you were asking.

If you mean a button to control what gear your in on the fly, I don't think so...

I thought all computer controlled 700s were called 4L60e?
only way I've adjusted is with TV cable

for 700R4's and 4L60's the shift points are controlled by the governer. you have to change the weights and/or springs to change shift points on that. 4L60E and 4L65E's shift points are controlled by the computer and can be programmed to shift when you want them to.
