Slap down a bunch of body filler? If thats how you plan on "shaving" it. Just don't.

There is a place that makes a one piece fiberglass doghouse for first gens. Its geared toward drag racing but I think it is set up to tilt forward so you can get to the engine. That would be your best bet and it might be cheaper. http://www.up22.com/S10.htm just scroll down you'll see it.

 

Hes not saying welding the fenders to the hood lol. The 1st gens have the two body lines almost like a sonoma hood. He wants to get rid of them.

my cowl has shaved bodylines...not sure if it helps you or not. i think it looks good
