well i dont think they are hard...i do them everyday...all you need is the right tools and have a little common sense....but the 790xv from dei is pretty nice...the most range i have seen on it has been 1/2 mile...

ya can but i dint see why you would use the door unlock signal to do that...just use one of the channels...i just dont think its a good idea...

well if you close the door...you will have to arm the alarm and then disarm it to open the door...i think thats stupid...
