I am going to replace just the regulator instead of the entire cpi unit. But the torx bit they sent with the regulator doesn't fit into the regulator. What size is the bit supposed to be? The bit they sent me has CR-VT-15 stamped on it.
So every CPI fuel pressure regulator has an adjustment screw from the factory or is that what you are adding ? Basically an adjustment screw and cap ?j894 said:I havnt seen one that wasn't adjustable on the CPIs
j894 said:almost 100% sure they were all adjustable. Theys why I said I havn't seen one that wasnt adjustable.
People who started the myth were poorly informed
j894 said:I KNOW for sure, that every one I've come accross is adjustable.
Going on #3 now
j894 said:The CPIs are different. I have a couple here right in front of me. the reg. adjustment screw uses a tamper proof T-10 torx bit, bad part is you have to take the upper manifold off to get to it. The reg. is integrated & pressed closed, if it goes bad or you need to change it you have to buy a whole new one..
