That screw in the center of the reg. is to adjust the pressure. The Trox bit they gave you is to remove the screws the hold down the retaining plate for the reg.

Can all the CPI engines be fitted with an adjustable fuel pressure regualator ? I have a 95 ?
Where to find one ?

So every CPI fuel pressure regulator has an adjustment screw from the factory or is that what you are adding ? Basically an adjustment screw and cap ?

Normally NOT adjustable from factory , anyone know for sure ?

Both of my TPI firebirds were not, but they sell them or just the cap with the adjustment screw in them. Where is the CPI regulator and how hard to get too ? Which size torx bit ? I already have a pressure gauge so I think I'll try raising it a bit. Thx for any info.

 

The CPIs are different. I have a couple here right in front of me. the reg. adjustment screw uses a tamper proof T-10 torx bit, bad part is you have to take the upper manifold off to get to it. The reg. is integrated & pressed closed, if it goes bad or you need to change it you have to buy a whole new one..
