the flexpipes are known to go to shit. mines got a nasty flexpipe leak, the braiding is about to fall off, and my truck doesnt even have 90k miles, my dads at 120 is fine.

its a common problem for it to leak, rattle, clank, fall apart.. take it to an exhaust shop, have them replace it, and move on

pull out the r driver side fender well and just take a look any black around it means it leaks give it a shake listen for noise then go to junk yard 99% of them are already off trucks pick up go pay 10$ and install just did that yesterday to mine fixed and done
you might have hit the pipe on the ground that brakes the cheep flex crap fast easy replace

yeah, mine is ripped apart as well and think my cat is plugged up pretty good cause it bogs a bit more than is should considering... but the reason im chiming in is because i am wondering what sounds it makes while driving... i have the slightly loud exhaust sound but i am also getting somthing else i cant figure out. its a grinding ticking like sound that is only present while accelerating. starts at about 1200 and goes up to 2400ish speeding up before it fades out and quiets out. its a 2.2 5speed and its present in 1-4 and occasionally 5th if i am taking off fast enough. ive searched treads but they all seem to have other factors involved as well, ie at idle or in reverse. just trying to rule things out at this point but if someone is spot on with the diagnosis i wont complain... thanks!

Mine does this too. I have not yet found the source. Anyone have any ideas?
