I run a 194 thermostat on my 4.3CPI, my temp guage will get above 210 on the freeway (uphill) I take home from work with the A/C on, even on mild temp days. Yesterday, I noticed a heavy buildup of dirt in my radiator. While washing it, I decided to hose off the radiator. Well, first off, my radiator is silver, not black!!! 
Second, I had piles of mud, literally, under the truck! Not to mention bugs, sticks, rocks, etc but I had to scoop the mud up with a shovel. Well, it was 106 yesterday, A/C on, up the hill it never got close to 210. The temp stayed very consistent. Make sure you guys clean out your radiators if you are getting overheating issues.
