I've got a small hole in one of my air lines and its kinda annoying how every morning I gotta wait for my tank to fill before I can go anywhere. So I was wondering what everyone thinks would be the best way to patch it up. I was thinking like some rubberized glue, then covering it with some good tape or something, do you think that will hold? If not what do you guys suggest?

I actually had no choice but to patch mine like a year ago while I was at a show . I actually used JB Weld quick and some electrical tape and it lasted till I got home which was a couple hundred miles away. Then ofcourse I replaced the whole line when I got back and had some line.

Please dont hurt me!!!!!!!!

lol thats why I had asked, cuz i didnt know how long a patch would hold. Obviously not too long with just tape. Seeing as how I got hooked up, I will replace the line.

just use a 1/2" PTC union...takes like 2 minutes and works fine...sheesh

and the smaller the hole, the more pressure it has going through it ...i think its like PA = PA meaning if the A (area) is decreased, the P (pressure) has to increase because they are indirectly proportional

so if you have a small hole, the pressure would be greater than if you had a large hole....not really too helpful because its also dependent on flow rates and all that shit...but now my head hurts
